ICANN/UASG Information on Updated Internet Standards
The Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) – which includes Apple, Google, ICANN and Microsoft – working to make sure that all domain names and email addresses work in all applications.

The Solution: ICANN and the UASG are trying to reach IT professionals, developers and system architects to alert them to the importance of Universal Acceptance – is a technical compliance process that ensures that all domain names and email addresses can be used by all Internet-enabled applications, devices and systems.
