CESI Open Café: Developing CESI’s Digital Archive

In our special Open Education Week 2025 Open Café, Mags Amond and Kate Molloy from the CESI Executive will reflect on CESI’s recent Digital Repository of Ireland Community Archive Scheme Award, and share their plans to digitise and ingest CESI’s newsletters from the 1980s to early 2010s that document professional development activities, advancements, events, and research in technology in education in Ireland. This session will outline the application process, vision for the future, and progress so far. We invite CESI members from all eras to contribute to this conversation, and to share ephemera for the archive. It is open to all, and we would welcome the opportunity to hear from other organisations or groups creating and/or maintaining open digital archives.

The session takes place on Thursday, 6th March at 8 pm. Register now to receive the Zoom meeting link.
