The inclusion of the Arts in STEM is a relatively new departure, recognising the importance of creativity and collaboration in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. When integrated, these subjects can enhance the development of 21st Century problem solving and computational thinking skills. In this hands-on session, we will use digital tools to explore STEAM with a particular focus on integrating Maths, Engineering and Visual Arts through coding. Participants will be invited to engage with activities to boost creativity through robotics using tools such as Beebots, Probots and Lego WeDo.
