This would focus on making foreign language learning accessible for students with dyslexia. Unfortunately dyslexia accounts for many students seeking an exemption from the language. I have completed a thesis based on this, which was awarded a first class honours. I wish to equip teachers with the ICT tools to overcome the barrier of dyslexia in the foreign language classroom. I believe that this will be of great benefit to both educators and learners of the language.
Presenter Biography:
I am a French and English teacher. I have a First Class Honours Masters in Education. I am passionate about using technology in the classroom to appeal to all learning styles. I am currently writing a Leaving Cert French book for CJ Fallon. I am also the Junior Cycle French teacher at the online education service www.homeschool.ie
