Story – One teacher’s story about the use of Modern Technology to support Language Acquisition in the Early Years, incorporating Beebot and language apps into learning Gaeilge. Moving on to using Scratch, and building our own computer with Kano, all through the medium of Irish. Is féidir linn.
Presenter Biography:
MSc i nGnó agus i dTeicneolaíocht an Eolais (Fiontar, DCU) Winner of the Léargas European Language Label Award 2013. Primary school teacher with Educate Together. Susan is a language enthusiast with a special interest in promoting multilingualism in the Early Years, and loves making use of technology to help promote language learning in the classroom.
