This is a lightning (5 mins) presentation during the Gasta session: Teacher educators for the FE sector, like all higher education lecturers, are working with increasing expectations of high-quality pedagogical practice using digital technologies in a constantly changing context. This presentation will report on these teacher educators’ narratives and meaning-making and how these impact their practice.
Presenter Biography:
Anne, a funded PhD student in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at SETU, is currently teaching the Technology Enhanced Learning module on Marino Institute of Education’s Professional Diploma in Education (Further Education) and was a tutor with Cork Education and Training Board. Anne has more than twenty years of teaching and training experience in Information Technology and Adult Learning and Development in adult basic education, community education and higher education.
