Presented by: Karin Whooley & Sarah-Jayne Carey
Living Schools Lab is a pan-European project involving 12 countries that aims to create a sustainable, growing network of primary and secondary schools, based around regional clusters, that showcase and share best practice and ways to successfully embed the use of technology in teaching and learning across the whole school. In Ireland, there are 7 schools participating in Wave 1, including 2 “Advanced Schools”. Colaiste Bríde in Clondalkin is the post-primary “Advanced School” and in this presentation teachers from Colaiste Bríde will share some of the good practice currently ongoing there and how they work with and support each other to mainstream that across their school.
Karin Whooley is the National Coordinator for Scoilnet with PDST Technology in Education. Part of her work includes coordinating the Living Schools Lab project.
Sarah-Jayney Carey, and her colleages Salvo Cacciato and Maria Broderick, teaches in Colaiste Bríde in Clondalkin.
