Genius Journals

Presented by: Maggie Green

We started to use Genius Journals in class this year. I teach 5th class and the Genius Journals allow the children to explore their thoughts and ideas and to develop concepts and designs. The children draw their designs or write about their designs and then edit and refine their designs. They make what they have designed, test it and then make their changes. Every edit is an opportunity for learning and the children are engaged and motivated! This session will share what we have been doing with other teachers.
