In this presentation I argue that innovation in teacher professional practice in schools may regarded in terms of diffusion. I suggest that a model developed for farming innovation may be usefully deployed to explain and support the take up of technology in support of teaching and learning in school contexts.
Presenter Biography:
Leo is currently Director of the Centre for Research and Innovation in Learning and Teaching at National College of Ireland. He had a previous career in educational television and e-learning production. His research interests are on the interplay between technology and learning. He is also programme director of the Post Graduate Diploma and Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching at NCI.
