This 45 min. workshop will introduce data and bias (in a meaningful hands on way) with a splash of AI. This is aimed at TY, FE and LCCS teachers (and anyone who wants to attend!!!) to provide discussion to the area of ethical AI. We will use python or no code examples of how bias is introduced in AI and approaches on how to mitigate it! We will use facial recognition to make it more real world based! Even if you don’t code at all, you can take part in the entire workshop with our no code approaches!

Presenter Biography:
Keith and Rajesh currently teach on the Human Centered AI MSc programming in TU Dublin, with a passion for ethical AI. Both are members of CSinc which works with primary, secondary and FE teachers and students to promote computing around Ireland!
