This workshop will look at some useful websites for creating online digital resources that can be used for assessment, homework assignments and for use in the classroom with your iPad/ iPod or tablet . Pupils receive instant feedback and their responses and test results are automatically corrected and recorded for the teacher. The websites are suitable for all subject areas , both primary and secondary and are free of charge!
Presenter Biography:
Declan Whelan is teaching in a primary school in Rathfarnham, Dublin. He also works as a tutor for the NCTE and has delivered courses in web design, video editing and other aspects of ICT in education. Last year he presented a workshop on integrating ICT and literacy in the university of Uppsala, Sweden.
