Presented by: Jane McGarrigle and Tracy Hogan
Webwise will present an overview its new Junior Cycle Digital Media Literacy Education Programme; Connected. The resource addresses emerging areas and themes within digital technology and media including big data, misinformation, online well-being and privacy.
The programme moves through five Modules which interlink with one another, providing opportunities for students to reflect on their own digital and social practices, their interactions with others and their communities and schools. Connected also provides students and educators with opportunities to engage in different digital technologies while exploring each module.
The session will introduce the resource, highlight best-practice and explore supporting resource materials.
