This presentation will focus on the setting up of a Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) group within a school setting. Aimed at teachers who were interested in using technology in the classroom and based on a Community of Practice model, teachers shared their knowledge and experience in an informal small group setting. Presentation will discuss the model and the overall experience as well as offering some tips for future similar groups to be set up in schools, who want to spread and develop their use of technology in the classroom.
Presenter Biography:
I am a Design and ICT teacher with over 14 year’s teaching experience, with a strong interest in the correct use and role of technology in education. I am interested in all areas of Technology Enhanced Learning but particularly in Action Research, Community of Practice models, tablet technology and integration.
