ATS2020 Project: Using ePortfolios to foster transversal skills

Presented by: Sinéad Tuohy & John Hurley

This session will give a rich insight into the ATS2020 project which is a research project involving 30 Irish 2nd Level schools, and a further 220 schools in 9 other European countries. Over 60 Irish teachers are involved in the project which focuses on the use of ePortfolios to support key skills and formative assessment. Participants will get an insight into the effective use of ePortfolios to support student learning with examples from piloting school classrooms. The session will also support participants in identifying how formative assessment practices help to foster key skills and provide and explore some ePortfolio platforms with an opportunity for participants to share their own practice.
