AI in the Post Primary Classroom

The main message for the session will be to introduce teachers to the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in the post-primary classroom.

The session will be designed to provide an overview of AI, its benefits, and how it can be used to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

It will also discuss the ethical considerations that come with using AI in the classroom.

Presenter Biography:

Ciarán Cronin and Aidan Liston are professional learning leaders with the Digital Technologies for teaching, learning and assessment team of Oide.

Ciarán and Aidan have contributed to the design, development and facilitation of professional learning opportunities in a range of settings, from national seminars to online and face-to-face cluster workshops, communities of practice and various national and international initiatives.

They are passionate about promoting and demonstrating effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies, approaches and methodologies across all curricular areas.
