The annual conference of the Computers in Education Society of Ireland will take place in Galway on February 27th and 28th, 2015. The theme for this year’s conference is Beyond the Horizon – Technology in Education. The CESI conference is a calendar highlight for those who are interested in integrating technology into their teaching and learning and this year promises to uphold the high standard that has been set by previous CESI events.

Friday February 27th, 7pm – 9pm: TeachMeet
It has become our custom since 2009 to host a Teachmeet on the eve of our annual conference. We are delighted to announce that we are hosting a special TeachMeet the evening before the 2015 conference. We have invited our friends and colleagues from the East to come West and join us! Teachmeet East has been running successfully for the past few years in Leinster, so we are thrilled they have agreed to host a special Teachmeet “East meets West” with us. This is going to be one NOT to miss!
The Friday evening TeachMeet will take place at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT).

On Saturday 28th we continue on the beautiful Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) campus. The blend of talks, workshops, vendors and networking opportunities which has proven so popular in previous years will again be a feature of conference 2015.
