As the capabilities of online Web 2.0 applications have increased significantly in recent times, some of the most powerful tools to emerge are those which allow users to create online digital slideshows and short videos using very simple interfaces and tools.
Presenter Bio:
Enda Donlon is a lecturer in Education at the Mater Dei Institute of Education, where he teaches courses to pre-service student-teachers and postgraduate students on the use of ICT in teaching and learning. He has a particular interest in Open Source software and systems, Web 2.0 technologies, Digital Video, Content Management and Information Architecture. He has worked with the NCTE on such projects as Digital Schools and Online Names, and has worked on several web-based projects associated with ICT and Religious Education (including FaithConnect and Logos). He is a member of the CESI National Executive.
