Chaith sé a shaol oibre le IBM. Ba speisialtacht ar leith a bhí aige ná ríomhaireacht, slándáil chumarsáide agus Cryptography. Pat was born in Ireland in Sallins, Co. Kildare. He emigrated to the United States in the 1950s and currently lives in Washington DC. He spent his working life in IBM’s marketing Division. In the latter part of his career he specialized in computer security and cryptography.
