ICT in Education - Changing Landscapes

Computers in Education Society of Ireland (CESI)
Portlaoise Heritage Hotel, 4th Feb, 7 - 9pm
Portlaoise College, 5th Feb, 9am - 4.30pm

The Computers in Education Society of Ireland (CESI) National Conference will be held Friday and Saturday, 4th & 5th February 2011. The theme for this year's conference is ICT in Education - Changing Landscapes.

Friday February 4th

The starter event (CESI Meet) on the Friday evening in the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise will be an opportunity to pick up new ideas and network with other educators in a relaxed environment. To watch a short video of last year's CESI Meet event, click the play button on the movie clip below.

Note: The Friday night CESI Meet is now fully booked out and we are no longer accepting bookings for Friday. Due to the nature of the event and limitations on space it is not possible to take any more registrations for Friday. Anyone who turns up on the night without a registration will not be admitted. We are still accepting registrations for the presentations and workshops on Saturday in Portlaoise College.

Saturday February 5th

This year let your fingers do the learning, with more ‘hands on’ than before.  The blend of talks, workshops, vendors and networking opportunities in Portlaoise Community College will continue to be a hall mark of the conference.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

CESI, www.cesi.ie, has promoted the use of ICT in education at all levels in the Irish Education System since 1973. It is a voluntary body that draws its members from primary, post primary and third level teachers. The CESI Conference is generously supported by Teachers Professional Networks (http://www.tpnetworks.ie) and the National Centre for Technology in Education (http://www.ncte.ie).
