Conference 2007: "Connect, Create, Integrate"

A forum for examination and discussion of all aspects of Information and Communication Technologies our National Conference showcases best practice and highlights the latest technology innovations and is an event no educational technology enthusiast should miss.

With a wide range of ICT presentations and workshops on offer this year's conference proved very popular with delegates. "Casting the net: what can change our classrooms in 2007?" was the title of the keynote address given by Ewan McIntosh, Educational Technologist based in Edinburgh. For those of you who missed Ewan McIntosh's inspiring and informative CESI keynote, you can find a dedicated CESI feature on his blog at http://edu.blogs.com/edublogs/2007/02/computer_educat.html

Along with commenting on the three main challenges of CESI: lack of infrastructure, lack of hardware and frustration, Ewan also points us to some research on "why interactive whiteboards are not delivering significant educational returns".
